Our artists

Artfocal represents a small, curated roster of UK fine artists — painters and sculptors whose work we believe in deeply. We are selective by design. Every artist we represent receives our full commitment — strategically, commercially, and for the long term.

Deborah Azzopardi

Deborah Azzopardi has spent over forty years painting one subject: the woman who knows exactly what she wants. Her visual language — bold lines, saturated colour, red lipstick, a smile — made female desire its subject. Sshh! is one of the most reproduced images in British popular culture, and her tribute portrait of Amy Winehouse, commissioned by Mitch and Janis Winehouse, sits among her most resonant works. Her work has appeared at Christie’s Bonhams and art fairs and galleries around the world.

Stuart McApline Miller

Stuart McAlpine Miller is a painter of extraordinary technical ambition whose work fuses classical portraiture with the visual language of contemporary culture. His large-scale figurative paintings layer iconography from art history, fashion, mythology and popular culture into images that are simultaneously timeless and of the moment. Monumental in scale and meticulous in execution, his work occupies a singular space in British painting — where the old masters meet the modern world
